Addiction Intervention
If you have a loved one who is spiraling due to addiction, we can help you arrange an intervention to help them.
Addiction Recovery Sponsor
Recovering members of our community volunteer their time as sponsors to mentor new recoverees.
I struggled with addiction for eight years, finding it difficult to stay
clean and walk the right path toward recovery. I often felt lost,
worthless, and devoid of self-respect during this time. I perceived a
lack of love from those who truly cared about me while I battled
my addiction.
Throughout those eight years, I repeatedly failed to recognize that I
was self-sabotaging and blaming everyone but myself for my
situation. However, with the help of a fantastic mentor and my
pastor, I discovered a profound faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ.
This newfound faith enabled me to heal from the self-destructive
behaviors I had been repeating.
I am now happy, sober, and thriving in life. Throughout my
recovery, I have taken the time to work on myself and become the
strong woman I am today! I have married my best friend and life
partner, who is also in recovery and encourages me to be all I can
be. I am in college pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a
licensed drug and alcohol counselor.
It is my passion to help others struggling with addiction, guide
them in their recovery, and help them find their faith in God so
they can become the person he has created them to be. I aspire to
continue inspiring others on their recovery journey, demonstrating
that life exists beyond addiction.

Who we are ....
I have partnered with my mentors and pastor from The Church of New Bennings
to start New Bennings Life Recovery Group to create a welcoming and supportive
environment for individuals in recovery. This group serves as a safe space where
members can openly discuss the challenges they face related to their addiction,
mental health issues, and past traumas.
Our mission is to foster a supportive community where individuals can help one another thrive. We are dedicated to assisting those facing challenges such as mental health issues, addiction, and trauma while also encouraging personal growth in faith. Together, we strive to create a nurturing environment that feels like family.

-Jared-
I have been in and out of recovery for 20 years, going through
the "12 steps" with a sponsor, never being able to stay clean.
They always say, "Welcome home," but I felt more of an
outcast there than anywhere. But this meeting is where you
can share all about your struggles and where you don't feel
alone. It is a place you can go to grow as it is growing!
